Er besteht aus Verbundstoffen wie B\u00fcffelhorn, Bambus und Tiersehnen. Zum Schutz dienten Auflagen aus Birkenrinde, Schlangenhaut und Fischhaut. Zur Herstellung dieses Bogens sind ca. 200 Arbeitsschritte notwendig. Heute sind Nachbauten aus modernen Werkstoffen wie Glasfaser auf dem Markt. Die traditionelle Herstellung dieses Bogens beherrscht nur noch ein Bogenbauer. Der Auszug wird hierdurch verl\u00e4ngert und erleichtert. Dies erm\u00f6glicht gr\u00f6\u00dfere Zuggewichte und das pr\u00e4zise Schie\u00dfen von schwereren Pfeilen. Mandschu-B\u00f6gen k\u00f6nnen bis zu 190 cm gro\u00df sein. Der Durchschnitt liegt bei 160-170cm. Kriegsspitzen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Die Pfeile<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"csc-textpic csc-textpic-intext-right csc-textpic-border csc-textpic-equalheight\">\n<div class=\"csc-textpic-text\">\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Die Pfeile, der Schaft meist aus Birkenholz oder Bambus, haben eine L\u00e4nge bis zu 105 cm und ein Gewicht von \u00fcber 100 Gramm. Die au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich lange 3-Fach Befiederung, von ca. 30 cm und l\u00e4nger, bestand meist aus Adler- u. Kranichfedern. K\u00f6cher<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Die Spitzen, manchmal sogar aus gefaltetem Stahl, unterscheiden sich zwischen den schmalen Jagdspitzen und den breiteren\u00a0Kriegsspitzen der Mandschu. Es gab auch pfeifende Spitzen aus Knochen gefertigt. Diese wurden zur Signal\u00fcbertragung verwendet.
